TORONTO - The following have been named Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) Teams of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Jan. 29.

Durham Men's Basketball

The Durham Lords have put together a five-game win streak, including a 68-63 road win at second-place Algonquin on Jan. 27. The Lords followed this up with a 72-64 win at La Cite on Jan. 28 to escape the Ottawa region with a 2-0 record. Second-year forward Byron Wabano (Moosonee, Ont.) averaged over 10 points in the two victories. He also had eight rebounds against Algonquin. Durham (9-5) currently sits in a tie for third place in the OCAA East region.

The Niagara Knights avenged an earlier loss to second-place Nipissing with a 3-2 (25-21, 13-25, 25-20, 21-25, 17-15) upset win on Jan. 28. Niagara followed this performance with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-19) win over Canadore on Jan. 29 to move above the .500 mark (7-6) and into fourth place in the OCAA West region. Outside hitter Jenna Bray (Burlington, Ont.) has been a great addition to the Knights since the break. She finished the weekend with 21 kills, five aces, and one block for 27 points.
