TORONTO - A look at stats and figures from around the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA).
21 - Number of offensive points needed by La Cite second-year power Keith Marier (Ottawa) to set a new OCAA men's volleyball single season record. Marier currently has 284 points for the 2011-12 season. Seneca's Kanitha Boranprasit set the OCAA single season standard of 304 points in 2000-01.
14 - Number of kills needed by Keith Marier to set a new OCAA men's volleyball single season record. Marier currently has 257 kills for the 2011-12 season. Seneca's Jason Hernandez set the OCAA single season standard of 257 kills in 2010-11.
9 - Number of Sheridan Bruins men's basketball players to surpass 800 career points. Third-year guard Khalid Abdel-Gabar (Mississauga, Ont.) now has 803 points for his OCAA career after scoring 37 points in an 85-79 road win at Fanshawe on Jan. 25.
26 - Number of offensive points needed by Redeemer fourth-year left side Erika Straatsma (Brampton, Ont.) to set a new school record. Straatsma is on pace to break Allison Lammers' career mark of 645. On Jan. 24, Straatsma surpassed Lammers' career kills record which now sits at 497.
56.8 - Shooting percentage of Humber women's basketball first-year forward Atissa Cronk (Kingston, Ont.) to lead the OCAA. Cronk is also one of three OCAA players averaging more than 10 points and rebounds per game. She has a total of 130 points and 111 rebounds in 11 games.
8 - Longest active win streak in OCAA men's basketball. After losing consecutive games in early November to drop to 1-2, Humber (9-2) has reeled off eight straight wins to soar to the top of the standings in the West region. Fourth-year guard Daviau Rodney (Brampton, Ont.) has averaged 21 points in his last two games.
3 - Number of times Sheridan (8-3) has been swept in a season series since returning to OCAA women's basketball in 2005-06. Fanshawe (11-1) completed the trick for the first time since Sheridan's return season, winning 61-57 at home on Wednesday. Fanshawe also defeated Sheridan on the road 77-56 on Nov. 2.
4 - Number of OCAA volleyball teams that have locked up post-season berths. Algonquin (14-0) and Humber (12-1) in men's volleyball and Cambrian (14-0) and Humber (13-0) in women's volleyball will now work on clinching byes into its respective OCAA championship tournaments in late February. The top two teams in each region earn automatic entries while the top six earn post-season spots.

Andrew Cicuttini
Mohawk Men's Basketball
Andrew Cicuttini (Dundas, Ont.) was named tournament MVP at the recent CCAA Men's Basketball National Championship. Cicuttini contributed a pair of double-doubles, and averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds in three games, well above his regular season average.
